"Night and Day"- covered by U2 (Version from the single "One") Richard Zangoli (ahowden@magna.com.au) Ideally this should be played with some delay and it also helps if you use a wah-wah towards the end of the progression. The song can be played on only three strings so I will only tab the strings that are actually played. By the way, during the progression the number of times that the notes are played will not be exactly right, so listen to the CD to get the rhythm, timing, number of times notes are played etc. I think this is reasonably close to the CD and it sounds OK. One of them three quarters of the way through the song the is quite easy to figure out (too much effort to tab) - it involves a lot of hammering-on up the fretboard and is probably best played on the first string. There's also a few seconds of synthesized guitar right at the end which I don't think is worth the effort of figuring out.Bono once said that he thought that at one stage U2 were terrible at covers and I admit they have done a few duds but I don't think that this is one of them, though I gather that some would disagree.
